Go Green

We need to cut the red greens out of our daily lives and go green. Red greens are the SUV’s or cars that take a lot of gas we should use either the cars that save us more gas mileage and, also the hybrid cars. The more gas we use the more oil we take, the more chance of global warming. We also should eat more chicken and less red meat. The less cows we have roaming the planet means less bovine methange gas. Thus are chickens and fish green. Six months out of the year we buy our vegetables from an organic farm 20 miles away. Less fuel is used to transport the vegetables to markets. We can also grow certain vegetables at our home. The little things hear and there can help us go green and, break away from red greens.

They say that satellite observations of earth indicate that artic regions reflected less sunlight into space in the summer of 2006 than in other recent years. This could change the warming of the earths climate. They are using NASA’s terra satellite to observe earths surface since may 2000. There analyzing the data in 36-day sets. Davis has identified seasonal trends in the planets albedo, the percent age of sunlight that it reflects into space. Between 2000 and 2005, the albedo during any given season remained about the same said Davies. In May and June of 2006, albedo fell significantly in comparison with the same months in previous years. Regions north of 55 degrees n – approximately the latitude of Copenhagen and the southern part of the Alaskan panhandle had darken enough to decrease earths average albedo from 31 percent to 30 percent.

Will specialists have not been able to figure out whether hurricanes will become more frequent or more intense if the earths climate warms as much as many expect it to do over the 21st century. But some meteorologists have expressed concern that higher sea- surface temperatures in the decades soon
